ÅngströmBond® AB9123EP High Temperature Epoxy, Heat Cure (8oz)

The ÅngströmBond® AB9123EP is a very fast curing, high temperature fiber optic connector adhesive. This low viscosity epoxy produces a very high strength bond for glass, metal, ceramics and most plastics. This epoxy utilizes the most popular chemistries used for terminating connectors. Its very high glass transition temperature allows it to pass the most stringent pistoning specifications. It has excellent temperature cycling capabilities and will withstand high humidity environments.

• Cures to a reddish-amber color (mixed color: straw to pale yellow)

• Mixed Viscosity @ 25°C: 1800-2200 cPs
• Glass Transition Temperature, Tg: 95–120°C (203–248°F)
• Shore D Hardness: 84-88
• Refractive Index: 1.564

Handling Characteristics:

• Working Life: 7-8 Hours
• Minimum Cure Schedule:
• @100°C at 5-15 Minutes; @120°C at 2 Minutes; @150°C at 1 Minute
