AngstromLap 16um Silicon Carbide Lapping Film, 5" Disc with 3mil Backing, package of 100 discs.
ÅngströmLap Silicon Carbide Lapping Film is a more aggressive abrasive film material, often recommended over Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film for epoxy and glass removal. It is not commonly used for the later steps in the fiber optic polishing process. It produces an excellent surface finish and can help reduce overall polishing process time.
The 5" film disc is the standard size for the Seikoh Giken SFP-550, SFP-520, SFP-510, SFP-500, Ultra Tec UT-8812, UT-8808 (new), Domaille APM-HDC-xxxx series and PCI APC-7000 Polishing Machines.
