    The Hernon Tuffbond® 302 Epoxy Adhesive provides a very fast room-temperature cure. Tuffbond 302 exhibits very good moisture chemical and heat resistance. This very fast cure epoxy adhesive is specially formulated for rapid in-line assembly of loudspeakers. Tuffbond 302 is also recommended for bonding metals, wood, ceramics, etc and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

    • Viscosity at 25°C: 50,000-60,000cP
    Cured Properties:
    • Working Life at 22°C (20g): ≤ 5 minutes
    • Durometer Hardness: 85-90 Shore D
    • Glass Transition Temperature, Tg: 52°C (125.6°F)
    • Coefficient of thermal expansion, ASTM D696 (K-1) :
      • Below Tg: 18 x 10-6
      • After Tg: 240 x 10-6
    • Operating Temperature: -54°C to 85°C (-65.2°F to 185°F)
    • Coefficient of thermal conductivity, ASTM C 177: 0.567 W/(m·K)
